Northjersey.com reports that while the leases will not be finalized by today's target date, we are in the deep stretch with getting the leases for the Meadowlands and Monmouth Park finalized. You can click here to see the report.

I say onto you Oh Horrible Soothsayer of a Pacing Guy -your earlier prediction of a done deal by the latest - June 1 - will be wrong. Or are you from the school of moving deadlines like the moron who predicted the End of The World on May 21...oh now it is October 21!! FYI- that damn NJTHA just won't cave in to the big bad bully.
Anon, I say you are right about the June 1 deadline being wrong, but saying that yesterday was kind of easy. No, I am not from the school of predicting the end of the world.
Oh, I may be wrong, but I think sooner of later the NJTHA will compromise, even if it takes the Governor to spell it out for them.
