Vernon Downs will host all freshman divisions of the John F. Simpson Memorial Stakes over the weekend of October 14 & 15. Entries will be accepted by the Vernon race office (315) 829-6825 until box close at 9:00 AM on Tuesday for Friday's race and Wednesday for Saturday. The entry fee for all Simpson races is $310 payable to Vernon Downs.
Following the Simpsons, the Kindergarten Trotting Classic will conclude with the last leg on October 21 and the $200,000e colt & $180,000e filly finals conducted on Friday, October 28th at Vernon. Kindergarten standings and conditions are available here.
