Looking for Paris in January?

Looking to see the greatest harness racing in the world?  How about time in Paris?  Well, if you answer yes, this may be the tour for you as you get to see the world famous Prix d'Amerique and other horse-related sites and more.  If you are interested, here is the information.

A bill is being proposed to allow offshore wagering companies to move to Atlantic City and be subject to New Jersey regulations as well as pay a 15% tax.  While these companies would not be allowed to take wagers in the United States, the assumption is they would want to move to New Jersey to show they are on the 'up and up' as NJ has some of the toughest regulation around.

Why would this bill be interesting to horse racing?   It would require them to contribute to a $20 million fund to support horse racing for three years.  The question is if 'foreign' gaming companies would be subjected to supporting horse racing, would the Governor let it stand?  Whenever an attempt was made to tax NJ casinos to support racing, the veto stamp came out.  It would be interesting to see what the Governor would do.
